I'm Rachna, a credentialed reading specialist and literacy tutor with a Master's in Literature, a Reading and Literacy Authorization, and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English. I've spent years developing curriculum for national literacy programs and working one-on-one with students across every grade level.

My approach is explicit and structured, built around each student's specific needs. I don't teach to a worksheet. I teach to the why — why a word sounds the way it does, why a sentence falls flat, why writing feels so hard when a student actually has something to say. That kind of instruction builds real confidence, not just short-term results.
